Job Summary
Procure and distribute medication orders per physician or pharmacist request, filling orders, kits, trays, carts, or stock requisitions accurately. Maintain adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies and procedures, and enter medication orders into the pharmacy computer system. Maintain logs, records, and other required documentation accurately while performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Work per diem hours varying between 10am-6pm and 8:30am-4:30pm at Augusta Pharmacy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification
- One (1) year pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with tact and professionalism, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required
- Basic computer skills
