Job Summary
Select medications from stock to match label lists and deliver checked drugs, including controlled substances and IVs, to respective areas. Refill automated dispensing system stations to prescribed par levels and maintain inventory at appropriate levels. Compound sterile products such as intravenous admixtures, total parenteral nutrition, and chemotherapy using proper aseptic technique per USP guidelines. Coordinate daily distribution of non-sterile products while performing assigned clerical duties. Requires PTCB or ExCPT certification, NJ state registration, and ability to work the third shift from 11:30pm to 8:00am. Hourly rate is $22.38.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT)
- Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the New Jersey State Board of Pharmacy
- Ability to work the third (3rd) shift, 11:30pm-8:00am
