Job Summary
Under pharmacist supervision, Pharmacy Technicians respond to nursing phone calls, prepare medication orders, fill patient prescriptions, and provide customer service. Responsibilities include operating EMR systems, delivering medications, non-sterile compounding, proper documentation, IV preparation, inventory management, and maintaining a clean work environment. Certification in pharmacy is required within 18 months, and prior experience is preferred.

Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for routine interaction with hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
- 1 year of work experience in a clinical, retail, or healthcare setting.
Additional Requirements
- National Pharmacy Certification required within 18 months of hire.
- If hired before November 1, 2020, National Pharmacy Certification is required by February 28, 2022.
