Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem Day shift in Seaside, OR. Support acute care operations by filling and dispensing unit-dose and IV medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other departments, triaging patient orders, and maintaining the automated dispensing system. Requires Oregon PT license/certification, PTCB certification (or 2 years hospital pharmacy if not certified), and prior pharmacy practice experience; preferred: pharmacy technician program graduate and ADMs/EHR experience.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED.
- Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire
- Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire
- Minimum of one year (> 2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification - OR - 2 years (>4160 hours) hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified.
