Job Summary
Fill prescriptions correctly by utilizing computer-generated labels, completing packing and auxiliary labels, and removing printed labels for new and refill orders. Obtain appropriate drugs from shelves, place products in facility dock spaces for pharmacist checks, and cycle inventory. Maintain clean dispensing, inventory, and office areas while receiving and restocking non-controlled drugs from wholesalers. Use TCGRX machines to fill orders, interpret the delivery dashboard, bag facility orders for drivers, and manage refrigerator temperature logs. Reorder products via wholesaler systems, rotate stock, refill emergency antibiotic and hydration totes, and check for outdates. Empty work areas of garbage and HIPAA information daily, ensure all certifications and training remain current, and reference policies and procedures as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Employment Certificate/Permit
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
Desired Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Familiarity with pharmacy terminology through certificate course or comparable experience in a Pharmacy work setting
