Pharmacy Technician - Patient Services Representative

Coordinate and facilitate new referrals and admissions through collaboration with nurses, customer service, and distribution. Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patient, drug, and disease information to identify drug-related problems. Answer inquiries from patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals while maintaining thorough documentation of all clinical activities and communications. Schedule preparation of IV therapies and home medical equipment orders, generate delivery/pick slips, and pick and pull supplies under the supervision of a Pharmacist. Prepare labels, prescriptions, compounding worksheets, and maintain product lot numbers, expiration dates, and batch records. Participate in branch management, department, and intra-departmental meetings and quality improvement activities. Adhere to all accreditation, OSHA, FDA, state, local, and federal regulations relevant to infusion pharmacy and home medical equipment.
