Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role at SummitStone Health Partners (Longview campus, Fort Collins, CO) supporting both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services in a new acute substance use withdrawal/mental health facility. Responsibilities include managing Pyxis machines, loading medications from central pharmacy stock, monitoring expirations, optimizing inventory, handling medication waste, providing pharmaceutical information to healthcare professionals, coordinating with nursing staff and other clinical teams, performing medication reconciliations for admitted clients, assisting with unit dose packaging, processing outpatient prescriptions via WAM software, and ensuring compliance with drug laws and regulated substance controls. Requires high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain CPhT within 18 months, CPR/First Aid, and Colorado driver’s license; preferred CPhT certification and experience in behavioral health or FQHC settings, with bilingual abilities a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or completion of G.E.D. required
- Experience in mental health or medical client care
- Ability to get Certified as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) within 18 months of hire
- Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record required
- CPR and First Aid certifications required
