Job Summary
Conduct order fulfillment in a closed-door pharmacy setting by packaging, dispensing, and staging medications for distribution. Rotate through assigned workstations including packaging, staging, returns, receiving, narcotics, IV, Ekit, compounding, and Omnicell cycle fill. Review delivery orders and bins for accuracy, coordinate activities with drivers to ensure timely shipments, and perform physical inventories of medication. This part-time role requires 20 weekly hours and offers a base hourly rate between $16.00 and $26.21. Candidates must hold certification or licensure as required by state law and possess one or more years of pharmacy technician experience. Omnicare provides care to patients in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- PTCB National Certification
- Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
