Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at UW Medical Center-Montlake Outpatient Pharmacy performing order entry, charging/billing functions, and medication filling under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist. Responsibilities include online processing of prescriptions, assisting patients with new prescriptions and refills, maintaining controlled substances documentation, ensuring medications are in-date, completing monthly outdate checks and unit inspections, filing systems, and daily prescription form filing. Requires WA Pharmacy Technician certification and six months’ experience (or equivalent education/experience). This is a per diem/part-time day-shift role located in Seattle, WA.
Required Qualifications
- Six months of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant OR equivalent education/experience
- State of Washington Pharmacy Technician certification
