Job Summary
Prepare prescribed medications accurately and safely for pharmacist review, ensuring insurance approval and assisting with pre-certification, patient assistance, and referrals. Manage drug inventory, maintain detailed records, order supplies, and keep the pharmacy organized while tracking stock levels and preparing labels. Document all changes and monitor inventory under the pharmacist's supervision, while assisting with phone answers, faxing, and maintaining patient confidentiality per HIPAA. Requires Florida Pharmacy Technician licensure (CPhT) and 3+ years of retail pharmacy experience.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience of retail pharmacy
- Pharmacy Technician Licensure in the State of Florida required (CPhT)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team-oriented environment
- Strong computer skills
