Job Summary
Contribute to a community's well-being by acting as a trusted advisor to patients and helping pharmacists prepare and dispense medications with accurate dosage and right medication verification. Provide exceptional in-person and phone customer service, listening actively to help patients navigate stress while learning specialty diseases like Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, and HIV. Accurately enter patient, medication, billing, and sales data into systems to ensure a safe, compliant, and seamless experience. Support the pharmacy team and empower your career within a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management. Work a set schedule Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, located at 3221 General DeGaulle Dr., New Orleans.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Active License/Registration from the Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy non-expired
- Working knowledge of Pharmacy Technician
- Covid 19 vaccination required
- Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT): PTCB or NHA accepted
- Two (2) to Three (3) years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Working knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes
