Job Summary
Licensed Pharmacy Technician working from home to screen orders, specializing in research, review and entry of prescription overrides in a closed-door practice setting. You’ll support pharmacy workflow, meet production/quality standards, and may perform other pharmacy functions as needed. Requires state licensure in FL/IL/PA/TX, active CPhT, 3+ years’ experience, strong communication, data-entry and computer skills; work-from-home schedule Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM local time with rotating Saturday shifts; virtual training and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law where applicant resides
- Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
- Reside in the state of Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Texas
- Active state technician license (Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Texas)
- Illinois requires active state license AND national certification (marked certified on state license)
- Minimum of 3 years related pharmacy technician experience
- Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- A secure and private room free from noise and distractions with ergonomic workspace
- Own internet provider with minimum 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload (wired)
- Data Entry Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard operating procedures
- Able to interpret Latin symbols on prescriptions and write routing correspondence
- General knowledge of generic drugs
- Ability to perform arithmetic operations for dosages and day-supply
- Ability to work with multiple monitors
- Troubleshooting computer issues
- Verifiable High school diploma or GED
