Job Summary
Dispense medication to inmates as prescribed by healthcare providers and maintain accurate records of distribution and inventory. Prepare and maintain medication orders, including intravenous medications, while ensuring all drugs are stored and handled securely. Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve medication-related issues and strictly follow state and federal regulations. This role requires current Pharmacy Technician certification and at least one year of experience. Morning shifts run from 6am to 2:30pm with an hourly rate of $20.00. Candidates must pass a comprehensive background check.
Required Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification
- At least 1 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Knowledge of pharmacology and medication administration
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass a comprehensive background check
