Job Summary
Dispense medication to inmates as prescribed by healthcare providers, maintaining accurate records of distribution and inventory. Prepare and maintain medication orders, including intravenous medications, ensuring all drugs are stored and handled in a secure, controlled manner. Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve medication-related issues while strictly following state and federal regulations. This role requires current Pharmacy Technician certification, at least one year of experience, and knowledge of pharmacology. Candidates must pass a comprehensive background check and be available for morning shifts. The employer offers temp-to-perm opportunities, paid sick time, and weekly paychecks.
Required Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification
- At least 1 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Knowledge of pharmacology and medication administration
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
