Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician supports the operations of the medically integrated pharmacy within a healthcare setting, assisting with dispensing and preparing medications under the pharmacist in charge, managing inventory, educating patients on proper usage and adherence, coordinating with pharmacists, nurses, and physicians to align medication therapy with treatment plans, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Requires strong communication, customer service, and time management skills, proficiency with EHR/pharmacy systems, and regulatory knowledge. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license or PTCB Certification
- At least 1 year of pharmacy-related experience in retail, specialty, hospital, or medically integrated pharmacy setting
- At least 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare-related field
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ability to learn new software applications, including EHR and pharmacy management systems
