Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician with active license needed to deliver patient-focused medication support in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Responsibilities include processing medication refills and prior authorizations through the EMR, enrolling patients in pharmaceutical assistance programs, managing on-site medication samples, coordinating with pharmaceutical representatives, responding to prescription and medication-questions, and supporting physicians and office staff with administrative tasks. Must demonstrate strong communication, attention to detail, ability to work independently and within a team, and willingness to travel to satellite locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical concepts, medical terminology, and insurance payor requirements
