Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician assists customers with pharmaceutical and wellness needs, receiving and processing new and refilled prescriptions, verifying patient information, handling cash register transactions, providing prescription-related instructions, arranging pharmacist consultations, obtaining signatures, and maintaining pharmacy shelves and records while complying with health regulations and safety procedures. Requires strong customer service and interpersonal skills, basic math and reading abilities, and ability to operate pharmacy-related equipment; prefers Pharmacy Technician Certification and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino Learning Plan
- Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Retail Pharmacy Software, and POS System experience is preferred
