Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at Mercy Hospital, Oklahoma City, supports pharmacists by preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications under the supervising pharmacist. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalence
- Actively registered with the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willingness to submit registration by first day of work (including FBI background check fingerprinting)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) by PTCB (obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Certification may be required for higher ladder level (Pharmacy Technician II/III)
- Education/experience corresponding to Pharmacy Technician I/II/III level (as applicable)
- Successful completion of pharmacy department orientation
