Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician responsible for order fulfillment, stocking, packaging, and other material handling, and inventory control to ensure timely and accurate shipments. Fill prescriptions and orders as written, verify order details prior to pharmacist verification, label/assemble/ship products, coordinate with the Customer Experience Center for service expectations, assist with inventory management and workspace maintenance, follow SOPs and regulations related to prescription dispensing, and comply with privacy policies. Requires ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and proficient use of computers/scanners. High school diploma required; PTCB certification preferred if not state-required. Strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork are essential; manufacturing and customer service experience are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- PTCB certification is preferred if not a state requirement
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to identify problems and work to resolve issues
- Must be able to read, understand SOPs and all guidelines as they relate to the process
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and ability to utilize various software programs
- Must be able to use necessary equipment such as computers, scanners, or other technological devices assigned
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Experience working in a customer service environment is a plus
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals including cleaning agents and disinfectants
