Job Summary
Maintain all medication-related records for long-term care facilities by establishing profiles in the QS1 system, updating monthly Medication Administration Records, and generating custom reports. Act as a liaison between operations and clients to resolve service issues, communicate prescription questions with physicians, and troubleshoot eMar platform problems. Manage delivery schedules for monthly records, monitor supply inventory, and assist pharmacists with prescription entry and problem resolution. Work flexible hours including weekends to ensure timely delivery and accurate data coordination.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Advanced computer skills
- Pharmacy operations system experience
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
- Working knowledge of State Assisted Living regulations and facility requirements
- Experience working with medication administration records
Desired Qualifications
- National Certification preferred (PTCB)
- Advanced degree may substitute for experience
