Required Qualifications

• •High school graduate or within 1 year of receiving diploma
• •Good math aptitude
• •Math and metric knowledge
• •Ability to effectively communicate with others in English
• •Acceptable written and verbal communication skills in English
• •Satisfactory score of Times Supermarket cashier test
• •Satisfactory score on Times Pharmacy math test
• •Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
• •Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• •Must be able to participate in strenuous work
• •Must maintain neat appearance and well groomed
• •Must maintain good customer relations
• •Must be able to work under pressure
• •Must have good memory for product identification and SKU codes
• •Must be able to use proper judgment when handling customer inquiries and complaints
• •Must be able to refer customers to the proper Management Staff if scope of the situation is beyond the position's responsibility
• •Must be able to assist in servicing of customers
• •Must be able to take on additional duties as assigned
• •Must be able to assist customers in locating merchandise
• •Must be able to smile, greet, and thank customers
• •Must have a pleasant personality at all times
• •Must be able to perform responsibilities independently
• •Must be able to receive supervision from Lead Technicians, Pharmacist-in-Charge, and Pharmacy Manager
• •Must be able to complete work assignments properly and efficiently
• •Must be able to report any problem areas or unsafe conditions to the immediate supervisor
• •Must be able to support and adhere to all Company programs, policies, and procedures
• •Must be able to ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner in accordance with established guidelines
• •Must be able to pick up and remove any objects or conditions which may create a hazard or danger to others
• •Must be able to report any hazards to the immediate supervisor
• •Must be able to work together with others as a team to provide efficiency on the job and to promote good morale
• •Must be able to properly maintain, using, and caring for all equipment

• •Must be able to check in-coming pharmacy drugs and supplies
• •Must be able to check received merchandise against the purchase requisition or invoice
• •Must be able to pre-package and label various pharmaceutical preparations
• •Must be able to process invoices for merchandise received
• •Must be able to alert Retails Support Center of price discrepancies
• •Must be able to maintain a filing system for memorandums on procedures, third party plans, patient files
• •Must be able to stock and/or face pharmacy Over-the-Counter (OTC) items
• •Must be able to order supplies from vendors
• •Must be able to maintain working area, sales floor areas, shelves, and storage areas to ensure that they are clean and orderly at all times
• •Must be able to perform quarterly inventory of items in the Automation Device (if applicable) and prepare pharmacy for inventory
• •Must be able to pull and prepare expired merchandise to be returned to the wholesaler or return company
• •Must be able to provide efficient and courteous service to the customers
• •Must be able to count medicines
• •Must be able to troubleshoot insurance claims processing problems
• •Must be able to collect the necessary information for the prescription based on the doctor's instructions
• •Must be able to enter information into the computer
• •Must be able to file applicable insurance claims
• •Must be able to call third party insurance plans when unable to determine appropriate claim filing not achieved
• •Must be able to collect payment and process transactions on the Point-of-Sale system
• •Must be able to provide correct change due to the customer
• •Must be able to monitor inventory stock levels in Pharmacy, Home Health Care OTC section, and in Automation Device (if applicable)
• •Must be able to understand and abide by all company policies and procedures
• •Must be able to acknowledge the importance of properly handling the finances and prescription medication in the pharmacy
• •Must be able to acknowledge that they will be held accountable for any negligent acts
• •Must be able to have a background check before employment
• •Must be able to agree to employment being contingent on the results of the background check
