Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician Level I works directly with pharmacists to fulfill prescription medication orders and maintain inventory, enters prescription and patient information into the pharmacy computer system, contacts new patients for demographic and insurance information, processes new antibiotic scripts, and assists with labeling, data entry, and other tasks under a licensed pharmacist supervision; duties include patient interaction, prescription intake, and participation in continuous quality improvement activities.
