Job Summary
Fill or pack refrigerated and ambient temperature medicines, operate automated packing machinery, and support the shipping handler department by manually metering packages and sorting them for shipment. Collaborate with team members under direct supervision to ensure timely medication delivery in a closed-door pharmacy setting. Work Sunday 2pm–12:25am and Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 3pm–1:25am, with mandatory overtime available based on business needs. Requires an Illinois Pharmacy Technician License, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and successful completion of the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam by December 31st of your license renewal.
Required Qualifications
- Apply for an Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift up to 40 pounds
- Detail focused and task orientated
- Ability to read and understand English
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Work mandatory overtime when needed based on business needs
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam successfully passed by December 31st of your 2nd IL Pharmacy Technician License renewal
- Verifiable High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required
Desired Qualifications
- Formal Pharmacy Technician training
- Pharmacy Technician experience
- Certified Pharmacy Technician prior to 2024
