Job Summary
Prepare intravenous medications accurately and safely in accordance with physician orders, established pharmacy procedures, and sterile compounding standards. Manage multiple priorities while collaborating with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment. Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure patient safety and quality. Requires CPhT certification and at least three years of IV compounding experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
- at least three years of IV compounding experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
- CPhT Certification
