Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician-Inventory Analyst responsible for managing pharmaceutical inventory, receiving and submitting vendor orders in SureCost, stocking medications using FIFO, reconciling inventories, maintaining the formulary, and supporting purchasing strategy. Role includes inventory maintenance, processing monthly NDC/formulary changes, coordinating bi-annual physical inventories with the Pharmacist-in-Charge, and ensuring accurate documentation and vendor communication. Requires IL Pharmacy Technician license and 2+ years of pharmacy, healthcare, or inventory experience; familiarity with SureCost/Framework and strong analytical, organizational, and data-analysis skills.
Required Qualifications
- IL Pharmacy Technician license required
- 2+ years of pharmacy, healthcare, or inventory experience
- Familiarity with SureCost, Framework, or similar pharmacy software systems
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing and inventory decisions
