Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary
Prepare, measure, count, label, package, and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision and standard pharmacy procedures. Support prescription intake, medication records, patient counseling workflows, polypharmacy counseling, and medication safety reporting. Maintain proper medication storage, security, cold chain controls, inventory levels, and controlled substance accountability. Assist with formulary support, non-formulary medication coordination, monthly usage monitoring, and required pharmacy data reporting. Keep the pharmacy workspace safe, clean, stocked, organized, and compliant with applicable pharmacy procedures and regulations. Participate in mass-casualty drills and support on-call coverage as required by the program.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of pharmacy technician experience
- Current and unrestricted license or authorizing document from country of residence
- Completion of a formal pharmacy technician training program or higher in country of origin
- Ability to obtain provided American Heart Association BLS certification
- Ability to obtain a base security clearance; ability to relocate to Qatar for an unaccompanied assignment; valid passport from Country of Record required before relocation and must be maintained during assignment
- Ability to work in an international site-based healthcare environment, including prolonged sitting/standing, bending, stooping, and lifting at least 15 lbs
