Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient provides medication delivery and inventory management in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include patient/provider/customer care, using the pharmacy computer system to facilitate patient care, preparing and labeling medications for distribution, inventory management of medications and supplies, maintaining pharmacy records, housekeeping in the pharmacy, and participating in onboarding and training of new pharmacy personnel. The role operates in a clinical environment with emphasis on collaboration, safety, and adherence to hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- 1 year related work experience (Required)
- Certified Pharmacy Technician within 2 years - PTCB or NHA (Certification)
