Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician II - Per Diem, Outpatient Retail Pharmacy under the supervision of a pharmacist providing pharmacy services including preparation of pharmaceuticals, inventory control, audits, billing, and customer service. Responsibilities include sterile and non-sterile preparation, operating automated dispensing technology, managing inventory, replenishing stock, ensuring proper storage, assisting with billing and insurance issues, and coordinating with nursing and physicians. Requires HS diploma or equivalent, CPhT, MA registration, and one year of pharmacy experience; preferred to have an Associate’s degree and additional hospital experience.
