Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician II assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintains drug inventory and patient records, accepts new orders from prescribers, enters information in the electronic record, and prepares and affixes labels. This role supports the pharmacy team in a hospital setting with emphasis on accurate medication handling and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Active Ohio Board of Pharmacy Registered Technician License OR Ohio Board of Pharmacy Intern license and P1 status in schooling if working in Ohio
- Active Pharmacy Technician License OR Michigan Board of Pharmacy Intern license and P1 status in schooling if working in Michigan
