Job Summary
The Pharmacy Technician II position involves providing distributive pharmacy services and support for the registered pharmacist. Key responsibilities include processing medication orders, maintaining pharmacy inventory, offering customer service interaction, handling medication preparation, and operating pharmacy equipment. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, relevant certification, and should ideally have at least 1 year of pharmacy experience. This position is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus for a 1-year commitment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or ExCPT Pharmacy Technician - National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or 1 year equivalent experience in lieu of formal training program
- Registration as Pharmacy Technician Trainee through the PA State Board of Pharmacy before start date
