Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician II role responsible for accurately processing and filling medication orders, delivering medications from the hospital pharmacy to nursing units, handling wholesale orders, and supporting pharmacists. Requires knowledge of sterile compounding, dispensing, barcoding, and use of technology to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency. Demonstrates leadership and critical thinking; works within inpatient pharmacy clinical services to optimize patient drug therapy and collaborate with healthcare teams. Position is full-time First Shift in Corbin, KY.
Required Qualifications
- National Certified as pharmacy technician or Pharmacy Intern license
- Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration certificate for Pharmacy Technician
