Job Summary
Process medications and prescriptions for all patients and appropriate patient care areas under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Assist in maintaining a neat and clean dispensing area and perform daily routine functions for the pharmacy department. Operate as a generalist to ensure an ongoing and efficient pharmacy department. Work a regular day shift with 24 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Board (PTCB) within eighteen (18) months of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician
- Successful completion of a pharmacy technician training program
