Job Summary
Entry-level Pharmacy Technician role at SSM Health’s Fond du Lac clinic. Under a pharmacist’s supervision, assists in transcription, storage, preparation, dispensing, and delivery of medications, supports non-sterile and sterile compounding, operates pharmacy automation, and maintains accurate documentation. Supports inventory management, ensures in-date and properly labeled medications, adheres to regulatory standards, and provides excellent patient and staff service while upholding HIPAA confidentiality. Works a full-time variable shift with a rotating weekend schedule, Monday–Friday, across 7:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. windows and 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. weekend slots.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Illinois/Missouri/Wisconsin/Oklahoma pharmacy technician license/registration as applicable
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or ExCPT/CPhT
- National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification or equivalent
- Ability to perform non-sterile and sterile compounding
- Proficiency with pharmacy automation systems and HIPAA compliance
