Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician positions under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, performing a range of complex technical functions requiring extensive pharmaceutical knowledge. The role features two levels designed for progressive responsibility, with advancement based on qualifications and demonstrated ability to handle more independent assignments. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and an active Alaska Pharmacy Technician license (or eligibility within 30 days). For Technician II, NABP certification and either two years of pharmacy experience or proven competency as a Technician I are required. Alaska Native/American Indian preference applies. Employee health requirements include immunization documentation (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap) and COVID-19 vaccination. Location noted as Anchorage, AK, on-site.
