Job Summary
Fills and delivers medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist while processing patient information and triaging scope-of-practice questions to staff pharmacists. Ensures adequate supplies are available for continuous patient care by managing inventory control and operating pharmacy equipment appropriately. Requires a CPHT certification, PTCB certification, and PHAT license, with less than one year of experience preferred. Shifts vary across the United States. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPHT-Certified Pharmacy Technician - PTCB - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
- PHAT-Licensed Pharmacy Technician - DORA - Department of Regulatory Agencies
- All job applicants for safety-sensitive positions must pass a pre-employment drug test
Desired Qualifications
- Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program Completion of a pharmacy technician training program
- less than 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician in a healthcare or retail setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft® Office
