Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician Go Live Support role focused on deploying MEDITECH Expanse EHR systems in HCA facilities. Responsibilities include onsite go-live support across healthcare facilities, participating in workflow decisions and trainings, end-user guidance for system navigation and troubleshooting, supporting medication-related workflows within the EHR, issue triage/resolution during activation events, collaboration with internal teams to optimize performance, documenting issues and resolutions, and participating in ongoing learning to stay current on MEDITECH advancements. Requires inpatient pharmacy technician experience, familiarity with inpatient workflows (distribution, IV workflows, automated dispensing), EHR experience, MEDITECH exposure preferred, and ability to travel nationwide with night shifts during go-lives.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S.-based Pharmacy Technician license/registration/certification in good standing
- Recent inpatient pharmacy technician experience
- Hands-on experience with inpatient pharmacy workflows (medication distribution, IV workflows, automated dispensing systems)
- Experience in a Electronic Health Record (EHR) environment
- MEDITECH experience preferred but not required
- Prior EHR implementation support experience preferred
- Ability to provide go-live support activities (on-the-elbow support, issue triage, end-user guidance)
- Willingness to travel extensively to client sites nationwide
- Education: Active U.S.-based Pharmacy Technician license/registration/certification as required by state regulations
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred
