Job Summary
Prepare medications, perform dosage calculations, and distribute drugs to patient care areas under the supervision of a Pharmacy Supervisor and Staff Pharmacist. Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure safe and accurate medication delivery while utilizing pharmacy equipment and computers. Apply pharmaceutical and medical terminology with strong calculation skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a rotating schedule that includes occasional weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of pharmaceutical and medical terminology
- Basic pharmaceutical calculation skills
