Job Summary
Prepare prescription orders by verifying information, applying labels, and assembling medications into bins for accurate, timely delivery. Alert the pharmacist on duty of any scanning issues and communicate inventory needs to maintain adequate supply levels. Assist in maintaining inventory by removing expired items, organizing stock, and conducting physical counts as needed. Consistently meet established accuracy and productivity standards while adhering to local, state, and federal dispensing laws. Work collaboratively with supervisors and functional areas to keep workflow smooth and efficient. Maintain a clean workstation and replenish all necessary supplies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements)
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies
- 1+ years of related experience (technical knowledge/skills may substitute for experience)
Desired Qualifications
- National Certification preferred (PTCB)
