Job Summary
Fill and dispense prescriptions using automation and cart filling, replenish automation systems, compound IV admixture including chemotherapy agents, and address patient concerns in person and on the phone. Maintain State of Washington registration and hold active CPhT, ExCPT, or PTCB certification with at least one year of experience. Work full-time varying day shifts Monday through Friday with occasional weekends at the VA Medical Center in Tacoma, WA.
Required Qualifications
- Registered with the State of Washington as Pharmacy Technician certification (not a temporary practice permit)
- Holds an active CPhT certification
- Holds an active ExCPT or PTCB
- Minimum of one year experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the United States
- Must be authorized to work in U.S.
- Must be available for varying day shifts M-F, with occasional weekends
