Pharmacy Technician -Front End

Conduct order entry tasks and collaborate with team members in the medication dispensing process at our closed-door pharmacy. Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required. Calculate and verify correct dosage based on prescriptions. Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx's to ensure timely return. Provide dispensing pharmacist with information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other flagged items. Create and maintain accurate customer records. This full-time position requires 40 weekly hours and offers a base hourly rate between $17.00 and $31.30. Certification or licensure as a pharmacy technician is required, with one year of experience preferred. Omnicare provides care to those in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings.
