Job Summary
Enter and process prescriptions into the pharmacy operating system with speed and accuracy, triaging incoming fax orders and verifying correct dosages. Communicate with customers on the telephone to respond to needs and route calls appropriately. Maintain data entry records for cycle medications, fill requests, and renewal orders while developing proficiency in pharmacy systems and document imaging. This part-time role requires Monday through Saturday hours from 9 am to 6 pm, with a flexible schedule of up to 25 hours per week. Candidates must hold a Pharmacy Technician license or certification and possess two years of related experience. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holiday and overtime
- 2+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
- Advanced computer skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
- Ability to think ahead, plan and manage time efficiently

Desired Qualifications
- National Certification preferred (PTCB)
- Pharmacy operations system experience
- Ability to develop proficiency in the utilization of all pharmacy systems (ie document imaging, legacy pharmacy computer operating system)
