Job Summary
Enter medication orders for various facilities and ensure all Third-Party claims are billed properly. Provide customer service and problem resolution to assigned facilities while maintaining accurate data for patient profiles, medications, and facility information. Bill and credit each facility appropriately each month, keeping reasonable production as determined by the supervisor. Travel to individual homes for meetings or drug exchanges as required. Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
- 3-6 months experience as a pharmacy technician
- Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician
- Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician
- Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician
- Broad knowledge of medications and physician orders
- General computer and keyboarding skills
Desired Qualifications
- AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field
- Hospital, Long-term Care or Retail pharmacy experience
