Job Summary
Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy operating system accurately and timely; triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing; verify correct dosage based on prescriptions; communicate with customers via phone with courtesy and responsiveness; maintain proper notes in computer systems; develop proficiency in pharmacy systems (document imaging, legacy systems); may assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and processing of medication orders as needed; work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with flexible hours including weekends and holidays to meet delivery deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements)
- National Certification preferred (PTCB)
- 2+ years of related experience
