Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in a retail setting. Responsible for safe and effective operations including prescription fulfillment, assisting patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone, delivering compassionate customer service, and contributing to inventory activities. May assist with immunizations and vaccine services where permitted, comply with SOPs, and travel to stores in the market as needed to meet business needs. Requires completion of relevant training and state licensing/certification as required by the State Board of Pharmacy.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, licensure/certification where applicable
- High school diploma or equivalent or active enrollment in high school/high school equivalency program
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
- Completion of a rigorous company training program and satisfaction of all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to State Board of Pharmacy guidelines where applicable
