Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role supporting CVS Health Retail pharmacy teams with a focus on safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, SOP adherence, patient care, and inventory management. Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, assisting patients at pick-up/drive-thru/phone, administering vaccines where licensed, completing required training and licensure, contributing to a high-performing team, and traveling to stores across the market as needed to support operations. Requires strong customer service, ability to follow SOPs, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Part-time position (approximately 29 hours/week) with benefits eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age and licensure/certification where applicable
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
