Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment across retail stores. Responsibilities include following SOPs at each workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off), assisting patients with empathetic service, administering immunizations and vaccines where permitted, managing basic inventory and cycle counts, maintaining patient safety and privacy, and complying with federal/state/local laws. Role requires flexible scheduling including nights/weekends, traveling to stores in the market as needed, and completing required training and certifications. Strong math, communication, and problem-resolution skills are essential to ensure accurate labeling, dispensing, and high-quality patient experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
