Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician responsible for supporting the pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across CVS Health retail locations, including assisting with immunizations where allowed, inventory management (cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories), and adherence to SOPs. Role emphasizes compassionate customer service, empathy, and ensuring patient safety while handling drive-thru and in-store interactions; requires completion of required training and meeting state licensure/certification requirements, with potential travel to stores in the market to meet business needs. Strong emphasis on teamwork, continuous learning to expand clinical and technical knowledge, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical principles.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy (age, education, licensure/certification)
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
