Job Summary
Support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, immunizations, and patient services across CVS Health retail stores. Contribute to inventory management, adherence to SOPs, and delivering compassionate, customer-focused care while complying with state board licensure and certification requirements. Demonstrate strong math, communication, and teamwork skills; participate in required training and licensure processes; and be willing to travel to stores within the market as needed to meet business needs. The role emphasizes patient safety, privacy, and quality in pharmacy operations and may include immunization administration where permissible by law and trained/certified.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age, must be at least 16 years of age
- Age and educational requirements may vary by state; follow applicable Board of Pharmacy guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
