Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician in CVS Health Retail locations supporting pharmacy teams with SOP-driven operations, prescription fulfillment, patient care and customer service. Responsibilities include following pharmacy workflow procedures, assisting with immunizations where permitted, inventory tasks, order accuracy, and delivering safe, compassionate service to patients and colleagues. Requires completion of company training and meeting state licensing/certification requirements; must comply with state board requirements, and high school diploma or equivalent. Willingness to travel to stores in the market as needed and to work nights/weekends as part of a flexible schedule. The role emphasizes accurate labeling, patient safety, privacy, and adherence to regulatory standards while contributing to a high-performing team.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
- If state board does not address minimum age, must be at least 16 years of age
- If state board does not address minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
