Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health retail locations responsible for supporting pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and high-quality patient service. Duties include following SOPs at each workstation, assisting with production, pick-up, drive-thru and drop-off workflows, contributing to immunization services where allowed, inventory tasks (cycle counts, returns-to-stocks), and providing empathetic, compliant patient care while maintaining patient privacy and safety. Requires completing required state licensing/certification per the State Board of Pharmacy and ongoing professional development; travel within the market to support stores as needed is possible. Strong communication, mathematical accuracy for dispensing, and teamwork are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements per state board of pharmacy
- Active registration or certification as required by state board of pharmacy
- Ability to meet physical demands (standing, lifting up to 20 lbs)
- Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
